"He's right behind me isn't he"?
attack really?
thumds 👇 👇
Ran into one whilst snorkelling off a beach in Yucatan. It was a full size great (big) barracuda. I backed off very carefully and when I surfaced saw a young couple with a small child swimming towards where I last saw it. Despite my warning they just carried on. The little kiddie would awfully tasty to such a beast 🙄
"charging?" lol.
Biggest clickbait in the history of youtube.
Didn’t charge anyone lol
This was the most clickbaity minute of my life. Take my thumbs down.
My very first time in the ocean, vacation in Mexico, I came face to face with a 6 ft barracuda, within 10 feet away. Instantly scared me so much, seeing all those big teeth, like a murderous smile. I thought, be calm enough to take a pic with my disposable water camera. I did swim away right after. That was the longest swim ever. It might have been 200 feet back to the shore. It didn't harm me. I read later that I might have been lucky that it was a larger, grown one as opposed to a smaller younger hungry fish.
Click bait warning! That cuda is interested in the bubbles as it is oxygenating the water, you even see the same thing in fish tanks.
The barracuda attacks that I have heard of have usually been divers who were wearing something flashing like a silver dive watch rather than a black one. The barracudas I have seen were curious or just ignored us. Once, when fishing from a boat in Cozumel, I had a big Cuda bite my catch in half about ten feet from the boat.I got the head, and he got the tail.
I have had 'cudas swim right beside my head through most of a dive -- never bothered me. They are attracted by shiny objects, but are no trouble.
The mouth on that fish is absolutely horrifying.
She has a nest and your too close!
I’m no French ocean lover but looks like y’all need re-breathers
Click bait! NO barracuda charging here, just curious!
It s not charging. Stupid title. . He is curious and Protects his territory. A barracuda charging is so fast you cant film it.
Yall should seriously stop diving if you call that "charging"
Wooden handled broom & a toilet plunger
I'd recommend a powerfully focused LED flash that would blind them.
Ooooooohhhhhh Baaarrraacccuuuuuuuuudddaaaaa Dun da da dun da da dun da da dun dun dun DUUUUNNNN bwowowowowowow BARRACUDA!!!!
Looks like its time to fire up the spear guns and light the BBQ afterwards
Time to move away. You are in his/her territory. These fish are territorial and will chase you off or bite . I give them a wide birth while snorkeling. They like to check you up as they appear curious. Remember. They have lots of sharp teeth.
they're definitely inquisitive..beautiful and ferocious fish!!
Gee, now how did I know it was a total BS title before I even watched it? A rrlatively cool video ruined by a clickbait title that only makes you look like an ass clown.
How much did he charge them?
I was snorkeling at Pigdon Reef just this past weekend and encountered a barracuda. Many years ago I had the privilege of going on a trip with Skeet LaChance and he told us that the barracuda were scary looking but harmless, and would likely only be confused by shiny objects. So I wasn't afraid of the fish. But! I got busted by a boat cop for snorkeling too far from my dive flag (n00b mistake, obvs) and when I got back in the water, the 'cuda was waiting for me, which I was not expecting, and got spooked. It took me a minute to remember that it wasn't stalking me. From that point on it was cool to have the fish around.
ill never forget the time i was in cuba with my family and came face to face with a barracuda. my brother and i were chilling in the ocean and had our scuba goggles on, i went underwater to grab a cool shell and turned around and a barracuda was just vibing and starring at me. i shit my shorts, surfaced and started swimming faster than i ever have. my brother started chasing me yelling at me “where are you going?!?” i told him when we got to the beach and he was like you didnt even say anything! every man for themself in a situation like that. if i start swimming fast to land, just know you should to.
holy shit that's a big fish. idk why ya'll swim in that ocean. thanks for the footage tho👍🏻
I remember having a similar encounter with a great barracuda of off Al Lith, Saudi Arabia at a dive site called Aramco’s reef. That Barracuda came out of nowhere and it was the most curious barracuda I’ve seen, it kept swimming with us, checking us out until we just finished the dive by the boat and then it left.
Looks to me it just wants the bubbles
How do you stop a barracuda from charging? Take his credit card
scary teeth I saw one last week snokerlling in San Pedro Belize.
omg thats so scary
what about legs? they dont need those !
More and more I'm thinking going down there without chain mail maybe not such a bad idea if you can compensate with buoyancy.
The last time I did a dive was a mile or two out from Key Largo right around the time this footage was taken. As I was headed back to the boat, I was greeted by a barracuda about this size. He was a bit more standoffish, just chilling near the boat watching me and the other two divers, looking to see if we had any scraps for him. Barracuda do this all the time...
00:16 Are we not going to talk about the barracuda basically shitting in the mans face? Anyone who does any kind of water activities in florida knows these fish are satan's creatures.
brave fish
Where is the charging part?!!! smh
I've snorkled in the Keys while lobstering and have been followed by barracudas. It's a bit disturbing.
This guy was so confused
Who knew barracuda were such hard Chargers
Democrat title !!!
B.s. if he was charging you he would have ripped one of your arms off
Not a barracuda. That's a shrieking eel
In the Keys,Had 60 around me in a circle all with teeth out,my mask made rings in the sunlight. They never attacked me
If the real thing don't do the trick, you better think of something quick.
Some stupid idiots have been feeding it obviously , this is how they act people !!!!!!!!’n☠️
